ATAHK reads from Xinhua News that The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Wednesday. Copper price rebounded from a 14-week low after a report showed new-home sales jumped to the highest in more than six years in the United States, the second-largest consumer of the metal. The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 150 U.S. dollars, or 0.88 percent, to 17,262.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price increased 62.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.30 percent, to 21,225 U.S. dollars a tonne.
