Explains' Shenzhen China Special Economic Zones (SEZ)
Shenzhen was established in 1979 and designated as China’s first Special Economic Zones(SEZ) in 1980, once just a small village .Since then, it has grown into one of the world’s most modern cities Mandarin is the official language but Cantonese and English are widely spoken. Located in Guangdong province, in the Pearl River region, and adjacent to Macau and Hong Kong, Shenzhen is a principal doorway into mainland China. Shenzhen is an export oriented city . With 14 ports, sophisticated rail and road networks, and a first class airport servicing both ground and water landing, a significant majority of China’s shipping firms are headquartered there. Its high-tech industry leads its manufacturing output.

Shenzhen Logistics Information
Shenzhen’s location, bordering Hong Kongand the Pearl River Delta in southern Guangdong province, is ideal for shipping and logistics. In the future the port, will call for expansion and increased integration with port of Hong Kong, will allow for easier exchange between  cities and increased total shipping capacity. Shenzhen’s Bao’an International Airport is the only airport in China that handles multi-mode and cross border transport; although primarily a passenger airport its annual air cargo capacity is about 600,000 tonnes. An urban rail network connects the port of Shenzhen to Hong Kong and greater mainland China.

Incorporating A Business In Shenzhen
Same as all cities, provinces and Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in mainland China, incorporating a business in Shenzhen is a process that involves collaboration between multiple Chinese Governmental Organizations. The Chinese Central Government offers four basic incorporation structures for foreign investors that are tailored to fit a wide range of business needs. Local authorities have different tax policies and regulation processes for each structure, so the benefits of each incorporation structure are reliant upon location and intended scope of business.

The four structures include:
Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE)
Joint Venture (JV)
Representative Office (RO)
Partnership Enterprise (PE)

Shenzhen Investment Promotion Authorities And Incentives
In China each region, like Shenzhen, government run investment promotion authorities that promote trade and foreign investment there. While the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM) has authority for investment in greater China, it can be very helpful to reach out to similar agencies at the local and provincial levels as these organizations possess intimate local market knowledge. Many regional authorities will offer additional incentives to foreign companies seek to invest in specific industries.
