Pudong New Area recently recruited 48 topnotch professionals via China’s Thousand Talent Program and 12 professionals via Pudong’s Hundred Talent Program.
These overseas professionals are experts in their field of study from biomedicine to microelectronics, software and space technology.
Pudong has lowered its immigration threshold for overseas professionals and is offering them with good working and living environment. They can work at the Shanghai FTZ Offshore Entrepreneurial Base for Overseas Professionals. International students with a Master’s degree can work in the FTZ after graduation.
To date, Pudong has recruited 197 overseas professionals via the National Thousand Talent Program, 204 via the Shanghai Thousand Talent Program, and 56 via the Pudong Hundred Talent Program.
