ATAHK reads from newspaper that Hub for Creative Enterprises to be Built in Qianhai. During the China Creative Valley Summit Forum last Saturday, a plan to build a hub for creative enterprises was introduced. Once approved the hub will be built in Qianhai in Nanshan District.
The project will be named the China Creative Valley and is said to cost around 12 billion yuan covering an area of 80,000 square meters and a floor area of 60,000 square meters, the project is initiated by the Guangdong Industrial Cooperative Association along with the Association of the Regional Cooperation of Shenzhen. Qianhai is part of the 15 square kilometer coastal strip in the west side and also belong to the city’s 12th five year plan that will help develop Qianhai into a hub for modern services for the industries in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
The project will have four primary areas these are will consist of an international creative park, and international creative block, and expert community and a creative industry headquarters. The main objective of the hub is to start up a number of international creative enterprises that will generate high income value.
The hub will also host several headquarters of creative design enterprises in eight fields, namely game animation, creative design, entertainment, new media, architectural design, digital audio and video production. After the construction of the creative valley will be finished it will be generating a yearly output of more than 35 billion yuan with taxes of around 4 billion yuan a year.
Experts say that Qianhai is the best place in the country for the creative industry to go global because of its geographical advantage, financial support services, preferential policies and a sound investment environment.( From Shenzhen Standard)
