ATAHK reads from China Daily that Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt on Wednesday on the sidelines of Summer Davos in north China' s Tianjin city.For details, please refer to the following news from China Daily on 2014 September 11th:
Li said China-Denmark relations have developed rapidly in recent years and that China is willing to take the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year as an opportunity for deepening mutual political trust and practical cooperation with Denmark.Li called on both countries to expand partnership from energy conservation, environment protection, information and communication to food safety and medical services to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Denmark to a new level.
The two countries have had sound cooperation in international affairs, Li said, urging both sides to strengthen dialogue on climate change and have closer communication and coordination in international and regional affairs. The premier hoped Denmark would play a constructive role in promoting China-Europe relations.Applauding Denmark-China relations as stronger than ever, Thorning-Schmidt said Denmark is willing to work with China to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year and deepen comprehensive strategic relationship, and increase cooperation in Arctic affairs.On the same day, Li also met with Russia' s Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Dendev Terbishdagva and Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
