ATAHK reads from “CCTV.com” that the Malaysia-China Business Conference, held during the 18th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), saw 530 mln U.S. dollars worth of deals signed.

The 12 agreements and contracts covered areas such as real estate, tourism, education, tea trade and decorative design.
"We hope bilateral trade will amount to 160 billion U.S. dollars by 2017, which is not easy," said president of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia Lim Kok Cheong.
The conference, attended by more than 1,000 representatives from Malaysia and China, was one of the major events during CIFIT, that ran from Sunday to Wednesday.
"It is an occasion for business leaders from both countries to communicate and explore investment opportunities," noted Bong Hon Liong, president of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce.
"Malaysia and China have long been friends of mutual trust and mutual benefit. We will spare no efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation and create a win-win situation," the president said.
