How to Apply a Visa Without a PU letter

If you do not have PU letter ,you need to handover an explanation letter to  Chinese consulate in your home country, carefully and clearly explaining the urgency and necessity of returning to China. If you hold the valid work type residence permit of China, also need explain why your position cannot be easily filled or why you cannot be substituted and so on. This is similar to  the application report to the Foreign Affairs Office submitted by your employer.The consulate will issue the visa according to your actual situation, for the personal affairs type and reunion type, must explain the specific reasons and urgency for coming to China, if you have a spouse here or family it is an advantage, but you would need to provide proof of relationship like marriage license.

 

List of Documents
1.Passport Page (Original and Copy)
2.Application Form
3.Valid Residence Permit (Original and Copy)
4.Explanation letter (letter of Invitation ) issued by your employer
Please take note that a Clear Scanned Copy is fine but the consular officer may require the applicant to provide the original letter.
5.Employer’s Business license (Copy)
6.Other docs as requested by the Chinese Consulate (Each consulate has  some unique different regulations depending on countries.
( If necessary, the consular officer may request the applicant to provide other supporting documents.
7.Health Declaration

 

Process & Time :
Apply for a visa at the Chinese Consulate or Visa Center, it normally takes 5 working days or so. Currently they are able to Issue a new visa (Z- Working visa, Q1- Family reunion visa or S1- Personal matters M- Business visa ) and diplomatic visa.
