Shenyang Free Trade Zone was established on the basis of the integration of former Shenyang bonded logistics center, Liaoning Shenyang export processing zone, Shenyang Zhangshi export processing zone. It includes all preferential policies of customs special supervision region like, bonded port and bonded logistics and export processing zones. It is the virtual port located in inland and is the extension of port functions.

Since October 2009, Bonded Logistics Center officially began to operate and its import and export volume has already been more than 200 million US dollars. It predicts that the annual import and export trade volume amounts to 70 billion US dollars and annual industrial output value amounts to 400 billion yuan up till 2015.
