In January-April of 2016, China’s import and export totaled US$ 1.10206 trillion, down 9.8% year on year. The export was US$ 636.63 billion, down 7.6%, and the import was US$ 465.43 billion, down 12.8%. The trade surplus was US$ 171.2 billion, up10.1% year on year.
In April, China’s import and export totaled US$ 299.96 billion, down 5.8% year on year. The export was US$ 172.76 billion, down 1.8%, and the import US$ 127.2 billion, down 10.9%. The trade surplus amounted to US$ 45.56 billion, going up 37.2% year on year.
